Executive Function Advising (EFA)

The Executive Function Advising program is currently full for Fall 2022. We are still accepting applications for the waitlist. We will be providing waitlist applicants with monthly workshop opportunities. 

This free pilot program provides individualized, collaborative support for students with disabilities that impact executive function as they make the transition from high school to Missouri S&T.

Students in this program

  • Develop an individualized goal plan for the semester
  • Participate in weekly advising meetings focused on action plans and weekly steps
  • Explore goals, challenges, and campus resources and opportunities


Goals may be related to areas such as:

  • Academic, organizational, and self-monitoring strategies
  • Campus involvement
  • Planning and priorities
  • Utilizing campus resources
  • Transition from high school to college


Students eligible Executive Function Advising must:

  • be eligible for reasonable accommodations through Student Accessibility and Testing (SAT)
  • have a documented disability that impacts executive function


Space is limited and applicants are accepted on a first come first served basis.
