Incoming students will have the opportunity to take the mathematics placement test. This helps to ensure students are beginning tin the appropriate mathematics courses. Students wishing to request accommodations are urged to fill out, print, and deliver the Voluntary Disclosure of Disability Form to the Testing and Student Accessibility and Testing (SAT) office. If a PRO Day has already been established and you would like accommodations for the placement tests please contact the SAT office so that arrangements may be made.

To request accommodations for a disability during your time at Missouri S&T, complete an application in minerAccess. This application is the first step in establishing academic, housing, dining, and temporary (e.g. injury or surgery related) accommodations.
As part of your application, you will be asked to submit third-party documentation of your disability. This documentation should be from a qualified professional outside the University. It should include your diagnosis and a description of how you are impacted by your disability. If you would like to meet with an accommodations advisor before submitting your documentation, please schedule an appointment by contacting Student Accessibility and Testing at dss@mst.edu or (573) 341-6655.
When your application and documentation have been received, you will be sent a request to schedule an intake appointment with an accommodations advisor. Student Accessibility and Testing engages in an individualized, interactive process with each student requesting accommodations. During the intake interview, you and the advisor will discuss your disability, its impact, and appropriate accommodations.
Following your intake interview, you will be emailed a determination letter. This letter will describe your accommodation eligibility status and outline the next steps.
